AJD Stairs Project - Oak Spine Stairs with Glass Balustrade and Landing
In this staircase, the typical central steel spine structure is replaced by oak to give a warmer, more natural feel. The single central oak spine structure runs from the ground to the first floor with steps seemingly suspended mid air. The glass balustrade is finished with black steel fixings and is beautifully complimented with a solid oak handrail.
A glass bridge acts as a landing which lets light flood through to create a bright contemporary feel. An led recessed light is located under the glass bridge and is used to highlight the stairs below as night descends.
